
Mr. Robert Eugene "Bob" Keplinger, age 91, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Keplinger was born August 1, 1933, in Washington County, TN, to the late Fred & Antionette Woodruff Keplinger. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Frieda Lynn Keplinger, two brothers, Roy and Howard “Midget” Cloyd, three sisters, Jane Johnson, Betty Keys and Geraldine Hicks and a grandson, Jeremy Clark.
He was a lifelong member of New Victory United Methodist Church.
Mr. Keplinger was a United States Army Veteran.
He retired from Burton Rubber. He enjoyed woodworking and helping his son in the roofing business. Most of all he loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Keplinger, Jonesborough; sons, Mark Keplinger (Debbie), Dave Keplinger (Helen) and Wade “Blue” Keplinger (Kim); daughter, Kim Clark (Mike); sister, Louise Sliger; grandchildren, Amy Arze (Steven), Paul Keplinger, Bobby Clark, Chaney Tipton, Josh Saults (Hannah) and Heather Saults; great grandchildren, Jaylie Keplinger, James, Allen, & Arabella Arze, J.R. Tipton, Addeline, Renesmae and Max Saults, and Jaiden Bishop; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dykes and Pastor Cathy Downs officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at New Victory Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews, Paul Keplinger, Bobby Clark, Josh Saults, Jackie Keys, Tony Cloyd, Jr., Jason Mahaffey and J.J. Mahaffey. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Cooper, Gary Furches and Curt McGee.
